What your consultation fee includes
Your fee covers your consultation with an AHPRA-registered Australian GP. If your doctor provides a prescription, medical certificate, pathology or imaging referral, or specialist referral during that consultation, there is no additional HerDoc fee.
You are paying for the consultation, not a guaranteed clinical outcome. If another consultation is needed, it is booked and charged separately.
Medicare
Medicare rebates
HerDoc consultations are privately billed unless your appointment type or circumstances are eligible under current Medicare rules.
After choosing an appointment time, complete your intake before payment. We will check whether a Medicare rebate applies to your circumstances. If it does, the rebate is deducted from the consultation fee and you will see the final amount before confirming.

If another consultation is needed, it is booked and charged separately.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
You can reschedule without charge or cancel for a full refund more than two hours before the appointment. A first late cancellation or missed appointment can be rebooked once within seven days using the same payment.
